It's the most wonderful time of the year ... gift guide season! Gift Guides are my favourite blog posts to put together and to photograph, I'm always so inspired by the pretty packaging and my love of a good gift set. I've spent weeks curating the most beautiful selection of products to share with you, I hope it helps to inspire your Christmas shopping this festive season.
Skincare
If you are lucky enough to be taking a trip this December then I highly recommend passing through World Duty Free, they often stock exclusive skincare sets which are very reasonably priced, including this one from Eve Lom*. Every time I've visited I've found their staff to be super knowledgable and friendly too, I never leave empty handed!
If you're looking to treat the special person in your life to something a little more premium this Christmas then I would recommend a brand like Peter Thomas Roth. As a luxury skincare brand their products tend to be a little pricey, however their gift sets are surprisingly affordable, the Hydration Glow Up Kit* costs around £40 but has a product value of £77!
Makeup
Too Faced are the Gods of Christmas launches and this years are truly something special. Christmas Cookie House Party* is a collection of products which clip together to form a gingerbread house design. It contains two eyeshadow palettes and a face palette, a mini mascara, melted matte lipstick and eye shadow primer. It would make the most incredible Christmas gift for any makeup lover, especially those who appreciate gorgeous packaging. Too Faced have also created lots of lovely stocking filler products, including the Damn Girl mascara encased in a metallic tree.
By Terry also have some great stocking filler options. Their limited edition Starlight Rose collection would be the perfect gift for any beauty lover, you can't go wrong with Baume De Rose*, especially with its pretty new packaging.
Bath and Body
Baylis and Harding gift sets are always a good choice, this year they have some lovely options including the Midnight Plum and Wild Blackberry and Jojoba, Vanilla and Almond Oil collections. Of course, I'm a fan of the pink products, but they have a huge range of sets so you are bound to find the perfect one.
If you are on the hunt for beautifully packaged bath products then take a look at the Australian brand MOR. Their aesthetic captures the elegance of a time gone by, I love the classic design of the Marshmallow soap bauble*.
Perfume
I adore perfume, in my opinion it's one of the most amazing gifts that you can give! Christmas is the best time to nab a bargain in this department if you know where to look. Fragrance Direct always have the most amazing selection of perfume gifts at very reasonable prices, they often have offers that I can't find elsewhere. I'll be adding the Marc Jacobs Daisy Love and Hugo Boss The Scent gift sets to my wish list this year.
If you're gifting to someone who is very feminine, loves floral and sweet fragrances and beautifully designed bottles then my top three options would be Miss Dior*, Flowerbomb and Mon Guerlain*. Jo Malone fragrances are also a wonderful option, they arrive so beautifully packaged that you wouldn't even have to gift wrap them! My choice would be Peony and Blush Suede, it is a wonderfully classic scent.
Makeup Brushes
For the pro makeup artist/makeup lover who travels, a makeup brush belt is a really useful gift. I love this rose gold one* from Beautify, it actually comes with a full set of black and rose gold vegan brushes, but of course you can use it to store your own too. It's perfect for if you want somewhere safe to hold your brushes whilst travelling, it also makes you feel like a real pro when you wear it!
You made it to the end - congratulations! I hope you found the post inspiring, do let me know if you have added any of the products to your shopping basket, or your own wishlist.
